A little about me
Hi, I’m Orit
For me, cooking and baking are ways of looking after people—a cake to take to a friend, something warm for the family table, or a familiar taste that brings back a memory.

At the heart of my kitchen
My Georgian, Jewish and Israeli roots are at the heart of my kitchen

How it started
Cooking for family, friends and patients
Alongside my work as a dentist, I always loved to cook for family and friends, and I shared some of what I made with my patients. It’s what made me fall in love with baking.

A new kitchen
Now I’m in Connecticut
I wanted to remember all the best recipes I’ve made over the years, and to share them.
My first · where it all began
I shared my first post on 1 November 2023
Two months later, on 2 January 2024, I posted my first recipe: gozinaki, Georgian honey and walnut sweets.

Now I’m so proud to share my family’s recipes with you on Instagram.
@ORITBAKESOFFICIAL →Something for every day
Something for every occasion
There’s always a reason to bake: a friend to visit, a table to fill, or a little one who wants to help.

Recipes to pass on
I also want to keep family recipes alive, so the next generation can make them, change them and pass them on.

There’s room at my table
Come in.
Whether you’re baking with your children, bringing something to dinner or simply wondering what to make today, I hope you find something here that becomes part of your own kitchen.
